OVERVIEW
The source-destination pair Lake trek is situated in a peaceful, remote setting surrounded by glistening highs. You will pass charming towns, alpine grasslands with flowers, moraine grooves, and glacier basins along the way to breathtaking views of Mention peaks I, II, and Class ii Bandarpoonch as well as the famous Black peak. The Ruinsara lake is located at the base of Mount Black High in Uttaranchal. It can be found approximately 14 km from Osla/Seema. The Ruinsara Tal Journey is a popular spot for hikers in Uttarakhand’s Uttaranchal district. It is surrounded by lush Pastures and beautiful Deodar flowers. The lake is considered sacred by the Fort Canyon residents. The view from this point would be simply breathtaking. The lake’s location below the Bandarpoonch Glacier makes it a wonderful camper location. Many urban legends surround the location. The locals believe that the Pandavas used the lake to ascend to Heaven via Priced At rs and that they roamed in the forests there during their four-year exile. This area is linked to Hindu mythology. Ruinsara lake trek will take you through some of the most beautiful and simple Himalayan villages. There are wooden buildings, temples, and shrines where locals worship their gods. Interacting with them will allow you to become part of their culture and get to know them personally.
A SHORT ITINERARY FOR THE ITINERARY
Day 1: Drive from Dehradun towards Sankri
You can either arrive in Chandigarh at the Results in the early hours or fly to Jolly Award Airport. You’ll be arriving in Chandigarh around noon. Flying is the fastest and easiest way to get there. From Dehradun, you will travel non-stop by bus and taxi for approximately 8-9 hours before reaching Sankri. You can relax with fellow trekkers, while you have dinner and go over the journey briefly with your guides.
Days 2: Sankri, Taluka, and Bheduka
Start the day with breakfast, and then go to work by seven. It takes about two hours to reach the starting point of your trek. Taluka, a tiny village, is surrounded by concrete homes that look out of place in comparison to the architecture in other villages. The GMVN also runs a guesthouse. The trekking trail leads to the river basin on the opposite side of the valley. It then passes through dense forest. If you visit this area in the early summer, the Gujars (pastorals with their buffalo herds) will still be making their way up to the higher grasslands. You will travel through dense forests.
Day 3: Dev Thach and Bheduka
You would trek to Dev Thach at 10,016 feet the next day depending on your pace. You will continue to follow the trail through the forest until you reach Osla on the other side. Dev Thach is a large alpine meadow. Although the primary trail doesn’t go to Osla but passes through several tea shops as well as the Seema forest resthouse (8,202 feet). It will take approximately an hour to reach the beautiful meadow from there. The dense, pine- and oak-filled forests will be your path. This area is home to abundant alpine vegetation.
Day 4: Ruinsara from Dev Thach and back towards Coder Thach
This afternoon, you’ll reach the Rifting Tal. To the west of there is the Yamuna Kanta. This is the place that will take you on a challenging trek to Yamunotri. To the east is the majestic Banderpoonch peak which rises to a height of 20954 feet. If you walk southeast from the lake to Kiarkoti, you can see the Mention range at the north. After enjoying the view and the pond, come down to Dev Principle. Stay the night.
Day 5: Stay at Dev Thach
Today will be taken off or used as a bulwark. You can relax and take in the stunning view of the winter giants while you lounge. You can read a book, or listen to great music while you relax. If you want to have a closer look at Bandarpunch peak, users can walk to its campsite. You can also go to the campsite on the other side of the river. If you’re lucky you might even spot Eastern Himalayan brown bears. After inspecting the peak, return to your camp for a quick hot meal. Spend the evening in your tent.
Day 6: Dev Thach to Bheduka
Today’s descent to Bheduka via Seema will be slow. To start the day, you’ll go back to your steps. Take in the view as you descend. You can still see the Eastern Himalayan giants.
You can get up early and make the most of this wonderful place until your next hike. You can find buses and cars to take you back from Taluka once you have arrived. Relax for a while and then unwind at your hotel. Take in some of the best food and enjoy a walk to relive your trip.
Day 8: Dehradun to Sankri
Continue your journey to Dehradun after a hearty breakfast at your homestay. As you leave for India at night, have dinner on Shatabdi. Delhi will reach you by nightfall.
